Riders on the 2024 Event
The 2024 event was a great success, in decent weather. The number of riders grows steadily and this year we welcomed 100 on the day. All said they had a great time – and that the longer ride was aptly named the ‘challenge’!
We will have raised well over £3,500 for our two charities, helping to improve the lives of many who need some help across Surrey.
What our riders said this year:
I wanted to say how much I enjoyed the route. And the vegan food; very much appreciated. Everyone did a great job. Looking forward to next year. Andrew
I wanted to thank you all for the excellent catering, wonderful ladies doing teas and coffees, and a trio of girls singing! Russell
The local charities that we support
Crossroads Care Surrey
A registered charity providing services to unpaid carers in Surrey. We put the unpaid carer at the heart of everything we do and provide precious respite breaks for those caring for the young, disabled, unwell and frail. Our professionally trained staff support the unpaid carer to help take away some of the everyday stress of caring. Our services also include end of life care, outreach support services such as shopping and befriending, and local care clubs for adults
East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services
ESDAS is an independent charity providing support to those who have suffered or are suffering from domestic abuse and live or work in the Borough of Reigate & Banstead and the Districts of Mole Valley and Tandridge. We support survivors and their children through a trauma with an informed, needs-led approach providing advice, advocacy, information, support and counselling as well as risk management and safety planning.
